Our goals are as follows:
- To celebrate our shared history and shared “lived experiences”;
- To express our appreciation for the courage of our ancestors;
- To connect the web of descendants and share this with anyone who is connected to the Coodin “Clan”;
- To “pass on” this information, and the stories that we collect about the “trials, tribulations and successes” of our ancestors, and
- To identify and strengthen the “interconnectedness” of all of us as “Coodins”, and that we have something to cherish, to share and build our common history together.
Our major activities are:
- Create a genealogical tree for all branches (expanded to all ancestors);
- Create a Website as our current and future repository of the family (stories, relevant pictures, and documents ;
- Create an “Ancestral Home” story, inclusive of all ancestral branches and their families located in Belilovka and surrounding villages in Ukraine;
- Collect and share our family branches and their emigration stories in Canada;
- Ask for assistance from our diverse family and family friends, and others regarding the information gaps which we possess; and
- Dream, plan and create a “Virtual” Reunion agenda for the Summer of 2022.
