Fanya Kudinski was a granddaughter of Nisan and Rachel. Fanya’s father Herschel did not emigrate and lived out his life in the Soviet Union. Fanya grew up in the Soviet Union and eventually made her way to Israel. In 1992, she visited Toronto searching for her Coodin relatives. She made contact with her aunt Bessie. Bessie helped her get to Winnipeg and paid $400 of her expenses.
Fanya had a son in Israel. She also had a brother Yascha who had died by the time of Fanya’s visit. Yascha has 2 daughters in Israel. So now we know that Hershel had a son and a daughter, and also 3 grandchildren living in Israel. We don’t know the names of the grandchildren.
